Mike Kelly Croke leads Healthcare United’s recruiting strategy, client development, and provider placement efforts. He works directly with healthcare organizations and candidates to support permanent hiring across multiple specialties, with a focus on clear communication, candidate evaluation, and long-term fit.
Based in Milford, CT, Mike brings over a decade of executive experience across healthcare recruiting, business development, sales leadership, operations, marketing, and contract strategy.
Prior to founding Healthcare United, Mike held business development and leadership roles across multiple companies, including Fludder, where he worked in B2B partnerships with colleges, universities, and graduate programs to help improve job placement metrics through the integration of virtual, hands on, industry specific mock interview programs.
He has since helped place hundreds of physicians and advanced providers across a wide range of specialties and practice settings, working closely with hospitals, healthcare systems, medical groups, and private practices to understand their hiring goals and deliver candidates based on their specific clinical, operational, and long term hiring needs.
Mike's background in increasing job placement outcomes for businesses, combined with his knowledge of the interview process, contract negotiations, candidate evaluation, and B2B relationship development, supports his ability to align providers with the unique needs of each organization while helping clients make strong, well targeted hires.

Matt Ramos supports Healthcare United’s business development, client relationships, and strategic growth. He works with healthcare organizations to understand hiring needs, build long-term partnerships, and support efficient recruiting processes.
Based in New Haven County, Matt brings a strong background in entrepreneurship, deal making, and relationship driven business development.
Prior to co-founding Healthcare United, Matt was involved in high value real estate transactions and investment projects, where he developed a reputation for structuring deals, building partnerships, and navigating complex negotiations. He has carried that same approach into healthcare recruiting, helping expand Healthcare United’s client base, strengthen long term partnerships with medical groups, healthcare systems, and private practices, and support clients in identifying candidates who fit their specific hiring priorities and organizational needs.
Matt also continues to work in real estate as a side business, further reflecting his entrepreneurial background and market knowledge.
Matt remains closely involved in the firm’s day to day operations, supporting both client strategy and recruiting execution. He has also helped facilitate candidate relocations into new geographies, using his knowledge of local markets, community fit, and client expectations to help ensure successful long term placements. His focus on relationship building, responsiveness, and long term value creation has been key to the company’s continued growth.

Austin Woods supports day-to-day recruiting operations, candidate outreach, interview coordination, and client communication. He helps manage the details that keep searches moving and ensure candidates and clients stay aligned throughout the process.
Austin works directly with physicians and advanced providers across a wide range of specialties, guiding them through each stage of the recruiting process while aligning their goals with client needs. He is known for his strong communication, follow through, and ability to keep searches organized and moving forward, helping maintain a high level of service and consistency on both sides.
Prior to focusing exclusively on healthcare recruiting, Austin built experience across highly technical and regulated sectors, including Department of Defense programs, Top Secret/SCI environments, and advanced technology. He led full lifecycle recruitment efforts for senior executives, directors, and niche technical specialists in settings where precision, accountability, and execution were essential.
Before entering the recruiting industry, Austin was a collegiate and professional basketball player who competed internationally in Spain and Lithuania. He brings that same discipline, competitiveness, and team first mentality to every search he leads.
